| FTBL Rader Taking All the credit

That would take some research. If you have the time, pull up the names of the three classes and we can make a guess...I've a meeting to attend this morning that is going to take a couple of hours (and a lot of patience considering who is holding it) and don't have the time at the moment. Scout or Rivals will have a list of the classes...copy and paste them and we can come back to this later on this afternoon.

If you have the time...if not, maybe someone else can.

Taking the credit, huh?

Are they taking credit for our extreme lack of talent on defense, too???

Because our last good defense came from Franchione recruits.

I also agree previous posters that you can certainly tell a difference between the performance of the players. The heart and desire. The strength and conditioning.

Google is my friend.

I am not familiar with many of the names because I live in LA (Lower Alabama) If anyone can make an educated guess, please do. I will also load these into a database and add facts. I would like to submit those facts to the paper that wrote the article.

A majority of these players are from Alabama however Legacy players can come from anywhere.

This is going on memory, and I don't follow recruiting as closely as others, but off the top of my head for '04 I would say...

Wingo, Stamps, Carter, Caldwell, McCall, Davis, Castille, Wilson, Holifield, Dawson, Davis, Britt, Knight, Davidson, Walker, McDaniel, Stover and Johns (Aaron) were considered "heavy leans." A few of those, locks...as example, Britt, Wilson, Castille, Stover, Wingo...

Direct link to the class of '04

'05 is a different story...I'll get to it later when I can step away for a bit...or she gets tired of talking and wants another smoke/coffee break. Right now, I see 7 of that class. We stole the top 4 RB's out of Florida that year. Credit can be given to Shula there for his Miami (as in Dad) recognition.

Upchurch, Coffee, and Ford. Who was the 4th RB out of Florida that year?
