I think the West is going to come down to the Iron bowl. Which we will win. So I guess we are gonna get beat by Florida in Atlanta :D . But here's my take:

West
Alabama
Auburn
LSU
Ole Miss
Miss St
Arkansas

East
Florida
Georgia
South Carolina
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
Kentucky

SEC CHAMP
Florida 38 Alabama 24

I think if we manage to make it to the SEC Championship, then we're good enough to beat any team in the SEC.

South Carolina getting love going into the season again! Not from this guy. Good defense, but still huge question marks on the QB and OL. That just doesn't fit well with a Spurrier system.

East

UGA
UF
UT
USC
UK
VU

West

LSU
Alabama
AU
Ole Miss
MSU
Arkansas

AU gets the higher bowl nod for defeating Ole Miss head to head.

Question to watch this season.

Can MSU, VU, Arkansas and UK win 4-5 games combined in league play. If the over/under is 5, I'm taking under.

Can Casey Dick handle throwing the ball 35-40 times per game.

Just how bad will the lack of experience (as in close to none) hurt AU's secondary?

Like South Carolina, UK will field a decent defense. Do they have the playmakers on offense?

UGA vs LSU in the SECCG with LSU pulling the W.

EAST

UF
UGA
UT
USC
UK
VU

WEST

Barn
LSU
Bama
Ole Miss
Arky
MSU

SECCG

Barn 17 UF 24

This is my unbiased opinion. I hope it turns out much differently.

Terryp has the best prediction:
East

UGA
UF
UT
USC
UK
VU

West

LSU
Alabama
AU
Ole Miss
MSU
Arkansas

But one problem. UGA has such a intense schedule at they will not be #1. I truly believe that UF will take it again.
In the Wast its going to be LSU. If we beat the barn in the iron bowl then we will be #2. As much as i would love to say that we are going to be #1 in the west its just going to be way to hard.

East
UGA
UF
UT
USC
UK
VU

West
Auburn
LSU
Alabama

( I leave a gap here becuase i believe the West will come down to the last 2-3 games of the season for us. COuld be a case where we beat AU or LSU, and still end in a tie. As in we all have 2-3 losses. Highest ranked team will go, so depending on the Iron Bowl or LSU-ARky. And NO, I am not insinuating that AU will win the Iron Bowl.)

Ole Miss

I understand where you are coming from with UGA's schedule.

Georgia is at LSU, UF is at UT. I'm not putting UT on LSU's level, but UF and the UT game is one of those coin flips most of the time. UGA is at Auburn and that's a funny series. UGA won the last two, Auburn won the last two before that, UGA won the two before that...and so on. But, there is a reason why I think Auburn finishes 3rd in the West. Far too many questions.

Thing is, I see UGA dropping a game. But, I see Florida dropping two when the face UT and then UGA. Who, that's one question I just can't answer with UGA...I just can't see them making it through their schedule undefeated.

I think we can all agree, the East comes down to Nov. 1st.

The West, comes down to November as well but up until LSU that looks to be a 3 team race.

East

1. Ga
2. Fla
3. USC
4. UT
5. Ky
6. Vandy

West

1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Barn
4. Miss St
5. Miss
6. Ark

I know I am not an unbiased observer here, but I expect UT to slide based on poor recruiting and the over decline in Fulmer's cooaching.

I think that the West will be very tight and could end up with the winner having three conference losses.

East:
UGA
UF
USC
UT
UK
VU

West:
LSU
Bama
AUBs
Ole Miss
MSU
UArk

SEC Champ - UGA

West Champ is decided in the Iron Bowl, only Bama won't be one of the teams in the running for the SECCG. If/when Alabama beats the Aubs, that sends LSU. If by some chance the Aubs win, then they'll go.

I don't think a lot of people are Ole Miss the credit they deserve. Shrek recruited pretty well, he just couldn't coach 'em, so there is talent there. And say what you want about Nutt, he tends to get the most out his players. They are gonna scare the heck out of some folks this year, and win at least one game they are not supposed to.

I'll agree with you on this one Bones. That's how I see it shaping up as well. Personally I hope Terry is right and AU is not as good as I think they are.

I agree with several of you about Georgia's tough schedule. On paper, they should win....but we all know the games are played on the field. I see Georgia losing to Florida or LSU (maybe both) their schedule is intense. The east should boil down to Florida or Georgia, I just don't see Tennessee having a solid year. The West.......

We were so good at times last year then so bad....I feel like we can CONTEND for the West but in the end I feel that it goes to LSU. With the new O who knows what the barn will do but I see LSU taking it.

EAST

Florida
Georgia
Tennessee
South Carolina
Vandy
Kentucky

WEST

LSU
Bama
Barn
Miss St
Arky
Ole Miss

UF lose to UT? NO WAY!!
we can go back and forth all day! :D
UGA will lose to a big team! AND lose to a fluke! there are always a few games that a big team loses that they arent supposed to. (Bama vs. LSU-monroe(or whatever the hell the team is called)) Its going to happen. And UT is going to be good. But not great. UF is taking it!!

I guess we will see hows right in a few months.....ill put a round of drinks on it (che) how about that? Wanna take the bet? :D

UF vs UT is just one of those funny rivalry games. They are at Neyland and UT plays UF tough there. Heck, during UF's NC run they beat UT by 1 point. Last year, killed them. UF has won 4 out of the last 7 including the last 3 in a row. But, out of those 3 loses 2 came at Neyland. Only exception was back in '01 when they lost to UT at home...played UT in their last regular season game that year.

Hey, can't get all of 'em right! ^^SPIT

From the Tennessee perspective, that rivalry was tamed considerably since Spurier's departure. If there ever was a guy hated in the state of Tennessee, it was the ole' ball coach.

It kills me how Tennessee creates the single-sided rivalries. In the late 80s and early 90s, Bama was UT's biggest rival, yet they were barely a blip on our radar. We all know the Barn is who we hated most.

Then, along came this fabricated rivalry with Florida. As is the biggest game on Florida's schedule would ever be Tennessee.

Ah, the rednecks in orange! Bless their toothless heads.

Not exactly on the subject, but the current rotating schedule messed up what was always a really good matchup with the barn and Florida.

I go back far enough to remember when our attitude was that no matter how the season started, the UT game was the one where you found out how good you were. It was an intense rivalry, but until Phatimus, not a bitter one. It tickles me that their spin machine has to go into high gear to create these "rivalries".

You know that the only reason you just posted that was because you are about one post short of 4000!!!!

You know UF is going to win!!! hahaha

But Bama will beat them all!!! BRING IT!
