PGA Championship. A very crowded leaderboard on a Saturday afternoon. JT is playing well.

SI called it a tale of two tournaments: The PGA championship and whatever Tiger is doing. I know they have always called Arnie the most beloved golfer in history, but these crowds, really all summer, are going absolutely berserk for whatever Tiger gives them might suggest there's another king in town.

On a side note, these ST. Louis fans are absolutely the best professional sports fans there is. Really doesn't matter who wins, this is going to be a lot of fun today.

And it disgusts me as a long time PGA viewer. Friday they had a guy with seven birdies and a triple on the front and I nary a mention of what he was doing. Not a breath or any screen shots. I heard Gary McCord mention he didn't care what the field was doing, he's watching and talking about Tiger.

It's good TV for some, horrible for those who are watching the tournament. Hell, I don't want to see every shot JT hits.

For my money, the PGA Championship is the best of the 4 majors and always has been. It's the least pretentious and seems to cater more to the working man. I usually like the course set up much better than the US Open and just plays more fairly to everyone's abilities. I would go PGA, Open, Masters and US Open.

I'm with McCord, I've been watching the PGA app on my ROKU so I've been watching Tiger's group all tourney. I thought it was interesting that Rory was complaining about having to play 2 days in Tiger's group with JT. Said it was difficult with the crowds to get the best from his game. He had better hope Tiger doesn't get back to form, cause he hasn't seen any distractions yet.

I'll be watching the latest Fowler effort to see if he can get his manhood pointed in the right direction today and finally finish off a major that he's playing well in. But Koepka's long game looks menacing.

@TUSKtimes, There were moves made, some really low rounds, that put these guys in position. Those rounds didn't get covered. It's bad coverage. If you're wanting to watch Tiger, ok. If you're wanting to watch the tournament? You're disappointed.

JT hit a guy in the head when he hooked it off 13 or 14 and then he sliced the next drive...He could have won today, and he knows it. He's going to help carry the USA to a Ryder Cup win next month.

Tiger...For someone who was ranked 1,000-something a couple of years ago, this weekend's performance was pretty good.

Tiger was throwing darts at the greens and putting very very well. JT allowed his emotions to take him out after missing that very makeable put on 12 or 13. Salute to Brooks...he is the King.

Only fifth player to win both the US Open and the PGA in the same year! Damn good!

Koeka was about as mentally tough as they come down the back 9. He really deserves a lot more attention than he's getting and maybe being the player of the year will finally get him that. He has definitely brought the muscle shirt to the golf course and really a lot of these 20 something guys are raising the standard of physical excellent in the sport. They mentioned yesterday this was most definitely more of the "Tiger effect." In fact, the whole tournament was flush with the "Tiger effect."

In the future, Koeka is going to get hard to beat the way he was bullying the ball down the fairways and lacing the ball around the flags all tournament. I still don't think he's a great putter, but he doesn't have to be when he is so long and accurate off the tees.

Hey, it's the "Tiger effect" what can I say?
You're one of many that like bad coverage?

Good ratings doesn't equal good TV. If you need another example, look no further than TVGuide.com. You'll find a slew of examples.

Personally, I'm glad the UA Amateur was on this weekend. Even with the option to follow groups online it didn't improve these last four days coverages.

You like what you like, there's no getting around personal taste. The leaderboard was off the chart Sunday. The best I can remember in a long while. That's why I mentioned I favor the PGA as my favorite major. Any course that brings the best of the best to the top is tops with me.

TNT had a lot of the coverage and I thought it was OK, nothing special. CBS has the best crew for my money and the coverage was always leaning toward what the public wants, well, most anyway. Tiger deserved the camera on him on the final round. The guy shot 64 on a Sunday of a major. He didn't even have his best game, as he said, he was going off memory. It was just unfortunate for Koepka to be leading the thing but somehow I think that plays right into Brook's wheelhouse.

If I could bottle it I'd send you some--COD.

You're making my point. The leaderboard was jammed at the top--the coverage was jammed full of one person.

Here's where this falls apart. So what if he shot a 64 Sunday. A guy gets seven birds on the front nine and doesn't get a mention. You hear the name Tyrrell Hatton yesterday? He shot a 64 as well (T-10.)

I do see a lot of people criticizing those who have the same take I do. Hell, we tuned in to watch a tournament--not one guy playing in a tournament (a little hyperbole there, I'll admit.)

This comeback bullshit is way over the top. WAY over. It's being romanticized and the story completely ignored except "back injury." Hell, try getting hit by a bus and then winning six majors. THAT's a comeback story.

And believe this. I truly respect his game. It's the way he's covered that grates on my nerves. We've seen "Jack was the only golfer" in discussions (which we know is BS.) Here, Tiger was the only golfer and it's BS again.

I'm laughing at an Instagram video that's out there with Tiger clapping the hands of fans, mainly younger, as he walked to the next tee and these two grown men getting all giddy after Tiger touched his hand. One of the most pathetic scenes I have ever seen on TV. I'd put $100 on it that the guy messed in the front of his pants if you catch my drift.
