Because we're having to play conference teams in situations where three of the four happened to be top 10 teams? The fourth, with A&M, at #15?

How long can a stallion be ridden at breakneck speed, day after day, until it finally gives up or expires? With that in mind, maybe the coaches need to consider our results for the month of November and take a long, hard look at what caused the negative result for Bama. Alabama's loss for 2009 should have been the Tennessee game. All other Saban year's have had one loss. Maybe it's happenstance that Alabama encounters superior opponents in November. Maybe it's cause and effect. If it's cause and effect, a famous saying bears repeating: The definition of stupidity is continuing to do the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

What do you expect? We play LSU and Auburn every year and they usually take a bye week every time before they play us. Of course November is hard. Back when Tennessee was good, October was a b!tch.
