🏈 NFL owners voted to permit players to participate in flag football at the 2028 summer Olympics in Los Angeles.

Yes, if they use my Bama player roster... though I'd make some roster changes by the time 2028 rolls around, including starting Gibbs and adding Ryan Williams, etc.

Too much money involved to take chances on injuries in the Olympics imo.
I've considered this. Here's what I was left with knowing it's flag football.

MLB has allowed its players to play in International competition. No problems there. It is a "non-contact" sport.

The NBA has as well. It's supposed to be a "non-contact" sport and we've not seen injuries there.

The NHL has allowed their players to play Internationally. I don't know of any injured. I do know it IS a contact sport though I don't believe they allow "checking on the walls."

It's the NFL, and it's flag football. It's sort of a contact sport. What will we see? It's 5 on 5 so a C, QB, and three skill guys? Knee and ankle injuries come into play which leads me to ask, "what's the turf?"
