Alabama will send 10 players to the NFL combine later this month in Indianapolis.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa; wide receivers Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs; offensive lineman Jedrick Wills; defensive lineman Raekwon Davis; outside linebackers Terrell Lewis and Anfernee Jennings; cornerback Trevon Diggs; and safeties Xavier McKinney and Shyheim Carter will represent the Crimson Tide in the NFL’s annual evaluation of its draft prospects.

Alabama’s contingent will include most of its departing players likely to be selected in the 2020 draft. Safety Jared Mayden, who played in the Senior Bowl last month, and offensive lineman Matt Womack, who played in the East-West Shrine Bowl, were not invited.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will not participate in any timing drills or throwing workouts during the combine, but will interview with teams and go through medical evaluations.

The combine will be held February 24 through March 1.

The 10 players that Alabama is sending is tied with Georgia for the fourth-most behind LSU (16), as well as Michigan and Ohio State, both with 11.

Last year, Alabama sent 11 prospects to Indianapolis. It sent 14 in 2018, 10 in 2017, nine in 2016 and 11 in 2015.

Big win. Any SEC win is a big win for us at this point. I still have hope we can make a run and make a case. That in a first year situation is great if you ask me. How often do you hear of a first year guy being competitive enough to make the tournament or be on the bubble? Roll Tide.

The relaxed Saban ain't my favorite HC. I want the pissed off one.

Looking through Lone Waite's piece of rock candy I see the move of Pruitt to 10RC as a big problem that we're still trying to resolve. 10RC couldn't find anybody that wanted their job and then they take away a huge reason for Bama's success. I expect Bama to be a really good team going forward but I don't expect another NC. I am hoping that I am wrong as usual.

I blame it on his granddaughter. She has mellowed him and made him soft lol. Kidding of course. Life is short so I do not blame him for finding enjoyment with his family for sure.
Why u kidding? U are absolutely right! Raising kids you are working to provide food, shelter, etc. grankids come along later, ur career is in twilight... have a lot of quality time with them.... ( if they are close)... you really look at them different....

I think she has affected him but he is such a different beast not sure how much. He mentioned in one interview that his granddaughter was watching him on TV at one game when he was chewing on someone and she ask why papaw was so mad. Plants a thought in your head that she is watching for sure that could temper his reactions.
