| FTBL New U Texas president supports beer sales at football games (Yahoo Sports)

New University of Texas President Greg Fenves says he is in favor of allowing beer sales at football games to enhance the fan experience.

Texas began selling beer at other athletic events at the urging of athletic director Steve Patterson in 2014, but not at football games.

Fenves took over the job Wednesday. In his first news conference, Fenves said school officials have studied beer sales and found no security problems at other events.

The plan would still need approval by University of Texas System Chancellor William McRaven, and would likely be voted on by the board of regents. McRaven's predecessor, Francisco Cigarroa, had opposed beer sales.

Personally, Fenves said he rarely drinks beer, but wants Longhorns fans to be able to have it at the games.

I'd have to look it up to be sure but I'm going to guess the Longhorns winning percentage has been between .550 and .570 since 2010.

Any amount of beer...and liquor, and ecstasy, hell lets throw in some LSD as well...all of these combined won't fix this issue...

at football games to enhance the fan experience.

Now, I'm no expert on Texas football...so I'll leave this one up to Charlie (no, not that one.)
