As you can see you'll need to join the pool to get things started. It's a pretty easy game to play, it's a hard game to win.

• One pick per week. Choose one SEC team you believe will win in Week One. (you'll see your options change for Week Two with your selection/team for Week One being removed from your choices. So, if you pick Bama in Week One, you won't be able to pick Bama again this season.
• It's single elimination. One wrong week and you're out. It's listed as "Strikes."
• SEC teams only (even though you'll see other teams listed as opponents.

It's last fan standing...or, the last to make the correct pick.

This is not in conjunction with the Sportsbook Pickem's. Your winnings there are not reflected in this game and vice-versa.

I have the ability to change my pick. I might. I made the mention of that selection for a few purposes: it explains "hidden" a bit, it explains the picks on the right side bar a bit...it's a "here's how it works" bit.

There are a lot of different approaches you can take to the game. I don't know if I'll stick with Vandy, yet. You can't change your pick in the Sportsbook. You can on this game. The times to make the picks will change before kickoff...so, a flip from one to the other for a Saturday afternoon will be possible.

Just a warning. If you don't have at least one of the SECCG teams left unpicked...suck to be perfect through the season with a team left that isn't in ATL.

I'll wait until you explain a little more of the strategies involved. I'll probably give it a go though.

@TUSKtimes, think about rivalry weekend. Do you want to use a Bama pick before the Auburn game? An Auburn pick before they face UGA? If you're picking UGA against UofSC you're forcing yourself to pick Auburn that weekend. It's limiting choices down the line. What if you have really bad picks for the last weekend.

No better way to learn that jumping in. It'll make you think.

You've got the concept. Remember, 14 weeks, 14 teams. If you're in it for the SECCG weekend you'll want to at least have a team there, right? Or do you play the odds no one makes it that far?

I believe you have to think long term as well.

True. We're thinking about throwing it out to the Facebook crowd as well. There's been discussion of it being mentioned on the DC Capstone podcast. We'll see. For now, it's just a game to play.
