🏈 National Finishes for Tide Question?

Since '92 what is the highest finish for the Tide in football? Now, before I continue and I get bashed, someone can find the thread where I picked Bama to win it all THIS YEAR. I still think we will. Now, I think we have won the title in gymnastics and I'm thinking third or so has been the highest ranking for football since '92.

At any rate, what I want to do is give big props for the Alabama Crimson Tide men's cross country team for finishing third at nationals today. Nice accomplishment. Fantastic season!

Let's keep rolling and beat Auburn and on to even bigger things this year in football.

Not sure where we finished in 99 but we did finish at #8 in 05 and #6 in 08. I believe.

AP had us finishing at #8 after the loss to Michigan. I believe the computer polls had us @11th.

I believe an AP finish of 5th in 1994 was our best since 1992.
