Not since 2006, have Alabama and I been in the same stadium during a game. The last game I attended was Hawaii @ Alabama in Tuscaloosa. I could have attended most, if not all, of the home games since then, but I had more important games to attend. I attended and was the coach of the Madison-Ridgeland Youth Football Club Colts, Ravens, Saints, Broncos, Colts again, Steelers, Giants, 49ers, South Madison County Soccer teams, watched Madison Middle and Madison Central High School Football, watched Mississippi Fire Jrs and Mississippi Rush Soccer teams, Madison Central High School Soccer (currently ranked #1 in US according to MaxPreps) and Holmes Bulldogs Soccer. All of these teams had my favorite players..... my sons. I could see Alabama play anytime, but can only see our boys play while they are young once.
So Christmas eve, my oldest son, a senior in college, bought me a new Tide shirt with the below packing materials!
My eldest son is taking me to the CFP Sugar Bowl Bama vs Clemson! I am a very proud father and looking forward to having him by my side cheering on the Tide!
