🏈 Marquis Johnson appreciation thread

I've been very critical of his play in the last year. As many times as I've pointed out him being out of position or giving up big plays, he had a damn good game last night.

Spurrier and Garcia made it a point to go after him, and he came up big EVERYTIME!! With Javy missing this game, we needed a cornerback to step up, and Johnson did just that.

Some may not agree with me, but last night, #24 was just as important to the defense as Ingram was to the offense.

Agreed he played a heck of a game. Played big when we needed someone to step up. Had to make Javy feel better. I felt better after that stonewall of three passes in a row. This is the best TEAM I have seen at Bama in a long time.

Johnson stepped up last night. Just proves that he can be good if he doesnt make mental errors.

I'm glad to see this thread. Johnson padded his stats tremendously last night. It's great to see when one goes down that another elevates his game so no beat is skipped.
