They're killing themselves. That spread option attack has generated what? 10 or 12 plays now in almost an entire half? ZERO points, and I don't think a single first down yet.

EDIT: they're showing the stats now. 13 plays in the first half. Seven yards!!! A safety for good measure.

Things are not going to be rosy in Oregon after tonight I predict.

South Carolina won't finish at .500 unless something completely unexpected happens. Spurrier's about to be spending a lot more time on the golf course.

No doubt... Nevertheless, at least he will not be on ESPN doing Dr. Steve segments.

On a second note, he may be an improvement. No, he would be an improvement. Obama would be an improvement, well that may be farfetched...

Dr. Steve! lol!!!!!

If Holtz does newspapers does that mean Spurrier does origami or something?

Oregon is putting on a display of offensive ineptitude that I cannot remember seeing in a long time now. Just.....man. They're absolutely horrific.

The other guy approached him taunting like mad, and just confronted him in particular.

If he added fighting words to that smack, I am all for the smackdown.

Otherwise hes in deep crap for not just walking away.

I dont care what he said, that was uncalled for. Especially after Blount talked sh*t all week sayin stuff like they "owed Boise State an ass whoopin" and crap like that. he spit all that garbage all week long and then got shut down to the tune of -5 yards. ole boy had a right to talk trash. regardless of that even, the idiot went on to start fighting with teammates, fans, and the damn security.

It is a shame stuff like that goes on... Blount has no business being on a college football field after that stunt.

And he likely wont be after that stunt.

The really cute part of the story is how Blount talked all that ghetto about what he and the Ducks were gonna do to Boise, then Blount gets shut down like Colonial Bank. He talked the talk, but couldn't handle it when he couldn't back it up. He really screwed the pooch tonight. The media is already making this out to be the 2nd coming of the "Malice in the Palace". This will end badly for Oregon.

If Blount is allowed to play again this year for the Ducks I would be surprised. He FU**ed up in a big time way tonight. Chances are, Chip Kelly will send his ass packing back to the corner he came from after this one.

I guess I disagree. There are certain things that guy couldve said that would make me understand that shot(white kid, black guy, idaho.......).

Not that I am to thrilled about the violence. But if he just threw down smack talk I completely agree with you, in that case, there was no understandable reason for that behavior.

EDIT: And i should say if it were understandable id still punish him, but take it into account.

EDIT2: http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=4444888&categoryid=2564308 and his response kind of eliminates my possible defense. But damn right its not happening again.
