Not all fans hate Saban. The problem is that the ones that do are the most vocal. Most people agree with Verge and think he really helped the program.
LSU does not look at this as a rivalry. A rival means a back and forth. This rivalry has not been that at all. During the Bear's tenure you guys won them all. During the last several years, we have won them.
Ole Miss used to be a big rival, but they are no longer the team they were during the 60s and early 70s.
Maybe in time, after Saban rebuilds your program, then we will have a rivalry. Right now, Auburn is a bigger rival. However, there is mutual respect. They don't like each other, but they both believe that is a hard fought game. Over the last 10 years, it is always some BS that determines the outcome and these games are very hard hitting.
Just because someone doesn't have the same records as you doesn't mean they don't have a great history. LSU does as it has won conference championships in several decades and won multiple national championships. Further, they are seeking another this year. Just remember, our fans have not had as much practice being on top as yours.
