No, not at all. Aside from Big Al, Mike is one of the best mascots in college football. Imagine if you're a little kid in Red Stick, and while walking by the cage at a game, the tiger leaps toward you or at least growls. That's quite a memory for a kid.

Like everybody else, I'm sincerely sorry to learn of Mike's untimely death. However, I can't help observing that it's been years since LSU was any good at managing the clock, and I presume that an interim mascot will be appointed.
