Les can't sign enough Louisiana players to put a fence around Louisiana. 43% of Les' recruits have come from out of state so a lot of Louisiana boys will get offers that LSU won't have room for. Texas A&M, Bama, Notre Dame, and Auburn sign Louisiana players every year because there is more talent available than LSU can sign.

Perry will be a good cornerback and I'm glad he went east instead of west. But LSU has 247Sports #2 CB Savion Smith, # 13 S Cameron Lewis, and #29 S Clifford Chattman committed and two 4-star corners very probable (#4 Kristian Fulton and #5 Trayvon Mullen). It's getting kind of crowded at defensive back. #3 Shyhelm Carter also took his 4-stars to Bama because of this.

There are five other top defensive backs in Louisiana that did not get offered by LSU but will play at SEC schools. Perry got an offer from Les, so I suspect you are getting another good one.
