There is surely an abundance of talent there but the kids from there always seem to find trouble. I love the pipeline we have had going from there but we almost need one of their own on staff to help deprogram The idiot out of them before they can take in the good teachings bs is trying to fill them with.

Now we are low on tackle depth and are in desperate need of stud left tackle ASAP.

Who in this current recruiting cycle Do we think could come in and help.
Losing the JC kid Charle Baldwin hurt.. Losing cam Robinson for the season can be a season killer.

We have 2 in the '16 class, 1 early enrollee, Jonah Williams 6-5 296 and Scott Lashley 6-6 300. Being pursued in the '17 class, Wyatt Davis 6-5 310 #4 nationally at OT, Isaiah Wilson 6-7 354 #5, Alex Leatherwood 6-6 315 #7 and a BAMA commit, Austin Troxell 6-7 275, #14 in state kid, Kendall Randolph 6-5 290 #25 in state kid and little brother to former BAMA basketballer Levi Randolph, and Elliot Baker 6-7 295 #2 JUCO overall. BAMA has offered 27 kids that are projected at OT in the '17 class. These kids that I listed are have a better than average shot at picking BAMA.

Currently on roster, SOPH Lester Cotton 6-4 319, SR Brandon Greene 6-5 307, SR Korren Kirven 6-4 308 and RedFR Matt Womack 6-7 320. Add these 4 along with Jonah Williams. We do have some depth, but experience is limited.

I think the Georgia kids that have signed at Bama have caused more trouble over the years...

Regardless, that OT position should be super high on the priority list. I do think Cotton moves there full time next year, so that's another good one in the mix.

Don't be talking about my Georgia boys now. Ha ha, just playing. Kamara, Dillon Lee, and Drake all had a few smaller run ins.

Yes I know but Green has never been able to crack the two deep.. had to move to tight end, Womack is a guard.. to slow to play tackle, Kirven got abused the whole spring game but had beaten everyone else out.. should tell you something, Cotton is playing guard rather than right tackle which tells me he may stay a guard. The only one of those guys who has tackle ability I have seen was Jonah Williams playing right tackle during spring.

I love all our guys but there are guards, then there are tackles.. if we lose Cam for the season after Baldwin already gets processed we become very very thin at true tackles. I don't know if there is Barrett Jones who can be a stud guard, center and tackle on the team.. if so I haven't seen him yet. We are going to have young backs, with a first year starting quarterback, if our o-line has an injury or two we could be in for a very long season with our schedule.

If push comes to shove, Bozeman can play a guard while Cotton plays one tackle and then Williams the other.

OTOH, IF this felony charge is dropped... It's a headache for a fan to think about. I don't envy Cristobal right now.

Greene was moved out to TE, not because he couldn't crack the 2 deep, rather we didn't have jack shit for a blocking TE!
