-Expect Tennessee to try and establish the run early on. They will try to capitalize on Cody being out of the game.
-The UA staff on the other hand will look to shut down their run, and force Stephens to win the game for them. He'll see lots of different looks, and UA will likely pressure more than they have all season.
-Last year, UA lined up DJ Hall in the slot, and got mismatches all day long by doing so. You may remember, Hall finished the game with 13 catches for 185 yards and 2 TD's. Could we see more of the same with Julio? If the Vols still haven't figured out how to defend it, then yes, we will.
-Look for Coffee to have a short leash on him because of his recent case of fumble-itis. Regardless, Ingram's carries are likely to increase this week because his style is well suited against this defense.
-This is just my opinion, but I don't think a fake or on-side kick is out of the question tomorrow night on a special teams play from Alabama. We saw it last year to start the game, and it worked. I wonder if we see a fake punt or another on-side kick this year? Tennessee is not the most disciplined team out there, so they are a good team to go after in that area when the time is right.
-Throwing downfield will be more of an emphasis if the Vols keep 8, 9 guys in the box. Also, throwing more in the 2nd half (if BAMA has the lead) will likely be something we see.
-Continuing on that last point, don't expect the staff to let their foot off of the Vol's throat while at the same time preaching "finish" and "intensity" to the players. If they are in position to do so, they are going to do everything they can to prove that they can finish... as a team.
-Lastly, it will be nice to see so much Crimson and White in stands tomorrow night. Should be a great atmosphere. If the Tide can get off to a quick start (and the Vols are certainly susceptible to that), then crowd noise will be a non-factor... for us anyway.
