Kendall Randolph and Kyriq McDonald have made their decision.

The two top recruits teamed up with AL.com Studios to create a special commitment video revealing where they will be playing college football, which you can watch at the top of this article.

Kendall, the brother of former Alabama basketball star Levi Randolph, is one of the nation's top offensive tackles. The 4-star recruit holds offers from a litany of top programs, including Auburn, Michigan, Florida, Tennessee, and many more.

Kyriq has seen his stock skyrocket after performing so well in a camp at Alabama that he was personally offered by Nick Saban. With elite speed and a massive wingspan, the cornerback is rapidly rising in national rankings.

Really well put together. Short and sweet! RTR

The OT Randolph looks like a no-brainer addition to the class. One of those huge OT's with the frame to add weight and stay athletic. Probably come in around 6'5" or 6'6" and 290 lbs. After a year with Cochran will be over 300 lbs and ready to compete for a spot! HUDL film he's blocking really well on the move and getting to the second level. Once he adds weight he will be a beast.

The CB is an interesting prospect. Seems like the taller/skinnier CB's have been en-vogue for Saban... But that kid is built like a damn power lifter and doesn't look much taller than 5'10. Explosive player though and good speed. Never saw Javier Arena's high school tape but imagine thats how he looked?

I would expect the CB to jump into the top 250 when it's said and done. If he came to camp and got Saban's attention, the recruiting bump is soon to follow. Randolph already a top 250 guy but maybe he jumps into the top 150 or 100 on a few sites with a dominant senior year.

This class is filling up nicely... SHOCKER!. lol. RTR and thanks for posting

Badass video.

Changing the subject a tad here ...

A few years ago any announcement news was normally released by one of the big three recruiting sites. Last year, AL.com and BR both started producing video's like this for players. It's a clever marketing move to get a foot in the door on those bigger services.

The video's last year were pretty impressive as well.

Back to normal programming ...

I'm surprised the AJC hasn't gotten into things like this, especially co sodering the number of propsects we have here. My guess is they're too busy sending their hack writers to cover traffic bottlenecks and DeKalb County corruption news.

They've chosen to try to copy what Saturday Down South has done with their launch of SEC Country. Who knows, they may try to branch out more into covering recruiting. Right now they seem content with just "re-writing" other news releases on recruiting with the occasional, very occasional, new news story.

Here's my opinion.

Alex Leatherwood.

Quick story: When he was visiting in the early spring CMC had prepared a tape about technique. Not instructions, but different ways the offenses uses left tackles. The tapes were highlights of Cyrus, Andre, and now Cam. The tape had quite a few different approaches showing off those guys ability in stretch plays, power plays, a lot of different stuff, ya know?

It's recruiting, I know. Thing is, Leatherwood can do those things now.

I'm a little behind in recruiting, so what exactly are you trying to say?

Sounds like Leatherwood is further along which is awesome. I'm a big proponent of taking as many QB's and OT's as possible... Maybe the 2 toughest positions to pan out and by far the toughest position to sign elite players. Everyone needs them.

IMO if you can get a guy that big and athletic with experience at LT, do it. Can always take more in the class, and/or move them inside to guard if necessary.

What's so funny (because of course you ARE right - he WILL get a bump just because we took his committment) is that Saban could care less about the rankings. He knows what he likes and likes what he sees - and he usually gets who he wants. Just so glad kids come to the UA camps. The master evaluator gets to find the guys that play best as long as they come to camp. Despite the 'Saban rule' they can't take that away from him.

I took what you posted as to say, "this is the offensive lineman to watch in this class" when you mentioned Randolph.

As this offensive line class is coming together I've seen many point to the possibility it may be the best class, on paper, we've seen at Bama for the line on offense. Considering how fluid recruiting has become, I'm hesitant to go that far. But, when we're talking about potential? #BamaProblems

It's my opinion that Leatherwood is the best lineman committed to date. I followed his recruitment a little more than most due to the reports. I see him as that next highly regarded left tackle coming out of Tuscaloosa. A strong possibility to be yet another first rounder at that position.

I've beaten the Mylar off of that drum. A little leary about picking up the stick again.

More on McDonald-

As a defensive back last season, the Madison-James Clemens star picked off eight passes. He returned four of those for touchdowns. On special teams, he blocked five punts. For the season, he scored an impressive 10 non-offensive touchdowns
