If I'm not mistaken, he only started one game at LSU ... played in a handful.

I wouldn't be surprised if we have another anomaly soon with the wealth of talent at QB. Coach Saban has spoken loud and often about the starting QB having to "win over the team." I can see a very talented but charismatic guy winning the day, even early on in his career. Don't have any idea who that is, but talent we got.

We all know Saban doesnt like to go freshman QB. However college football is changing. Players are getting better earlier. I hate to say this but there have been other schools that have a great Freshman BQ and played them. I hate to say it....but it worked well for the Barn. Also didnt Clemson start Watson as Freshman? Saban changes his game to do whats best for the team...IE Blake Sims. If Jalen gves the team the best chance at going all the way. They play him...freshman or not.
