The last team I am worried about is Auburn. When that streak ends it will not be soon enough. All they got right now is that, and come Iron Bowl they will shut up.

It is kind of sad to realize that the end of an era is upon us. Not really.....Bama has turned the corner, and it's time for the Aub's to realize it. They won't realize it until the "home" side of B-D Stadium's scoreboard is burning light bulbs out because the score is changing so often.
November is coming, and so is the end of the "streak". I don't know if we will be undefeated or not, but Auburn's going to have at least 2 more losses, and maybe more. I know UGA is going to pound them, and perhaps Ole Miss too. It's going to be a beautiful day in Tuscaloosa.

i can't bleive this is coming from an auburn fan when his team can't even beat vandy.
What blows my mind is this same AU poster was defending UA on that board when his AU folks were saying KY was going to take it to us. He told his own people UA is good this year and it would take a fool not to see it... oh well, losing to Vandy will bring out the worst in anyone :shock:

Slightly off topic but the op quoted a post by an Auburn fan invoking PBB and I kind of set me off.
Why is it that I hear more about Bryant on opponents boards (specifically Auburn) than I do on the Alabama boards? Yes, Alabama has a history, a very storied history. Some of the most famous college football games have been played with an Alabama team there. It is something to be proud of.
For the newer generations of Alabama fans, Bryant is something of a legend. We have latched on to the weathered face, the Hounds Tooth Hats and in my case a lovely dress; It is a thought or an idea of greatness. It is as if he has become a mascot of sorts, one that invokes strength, pride, respect and determination. What is so wrong with having those ideals, expecting nothing short of victory or and that old glory that Alabama used to have?
I would be ashamed if I settled for less than perfection. I wouldn't be able to show my face if I were to happily accept a 8-4 or a 9-3 season. If I were to be happy with less than perfection, I would be an Auburn fan. That is not who I am.

I smell fear!!! If the way both teams have been playing is any indication of what will happen in the Iron Bowl then I must say that it is probably not a good time for Auburn fans to be running their mouths.
