Anyhow...I vote that we play the rest of our games on the road....we seem to play better in a different environment and get way too comfortable at home.

You have to admit Bama played like crap today, but still managed to win somehow. Lots of the games during the 1992 regular season looked just like this game, if you all will remember.

That might be a phrase that Tuberville is comfortable using (on a regular basis I might add), but we are Alabama. That phrase should not be acceptable to us! I don't expect perfection on a game to game basis, but I do expect it to be respectable.

Don't get me wrong, Kentucky is no pushover, but the mistakes we made today were inexcusable. To be honest though, Kentucky was not playing as well as they could have either.

I'm just ready to go ahead and put this one in the past, not a fun game to watch at all.

The penalties were killing us, we looked like UGA or somebody! :roll:

I believe our defense played a great game...and if not for a few offensive T/O or a bad Pass Interference call we would be up 24-0....but instead we were 14-0 and staying on defense way to long, and they caught us tired and just trying to hang on. The screen play was against a tired D...still should have defended it better but it is what it is. And the second td was on a blown coverage at the end of the game, ( should we just go ahead and mark one up for each game now). But besides the crap we played good D...Offesive execution and playing with intensity was lacking...something Saban has preached all year.


Glad we have a week off and hope for a better preformance against Ole Miss!!!

I was thinking the same thing, rolltide1969. There were some beautiful "ugly" wins that season.

I'll take 13 1-point wins if that means Alabama being undefeated in January.
