1Thessalonians ch2
13 For this reason, we also thank God without ceasing that when you received from us the word of God’s message, you accepted it not as the word of men, but, as it is in truth: the word of God. And it is at work in you who believe!
14 Indeed, brethren, you became imitators of the Churches of God in Christ Jesus which are in Judea, for you also suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they did from the Jews.
15 They killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and they drove us out. Their conduct does not please God and makes them the enemies of the entire human race
16 as they want to prevent us from speaking to the Gentiles, so that they may be saved. They are still bringing their sins to full measure, but the wrath is finally coming upon them.
Acts ch7
43 You took up the tabernacle of Moloch, the star of your god Remphan, the figures to which you expressed adoration. * [Therefore] I will carry you away* beyond Babylon.
The star of Remphan is what is referred to today as the Star of David. It had nothing to do with David but was during Solomon’s reign.
The Jews are not the chosen people as they rejected Jesus. The Church is the chosen people since that time.
