Personally, it's impossible for me to think about what our match-up will look like in 2015. Heck, when I think of the name Gary Anderson, Wisconsin football isn't the first thing that comes to mind. Who can't immediately think of the long time NFL placekicker?!?!

To borrow a term we'll hear later on tonight, "...on the clock." It'll be interesting to see if Anderson continues where Bielema left off with the power running game. Based on his resume, the Badgers should field a salty defense when our game rolls around.

Outside of the trip to the Horseshoe, Wisconsin's schedule sets up nicely this season. That'll make it hard to get an accurate picture until 2014.

Thank you guys for the replies! Agreed on Coach Andersen - I immediately thought of the kicker!

I covered Wisconsin's Spring Game, and you won't see the Badgers going away from the ground game, that's for sure. You will see a sprinkle of the read-option that Coach Andersen wants to throw in there a handful of times during the game to keep the defense thinking about it, but I came away quite impressed with the Badgers' passing game (Joel Stave looked really good, and Curt Phillips played very well). Before the broken collarbone last season, Stave was the B1G's top-rated passer in terms of efficiency.

I think Badgers fans are licking their chops with that 3-4 defense being installed. The defense looked aggressive, and they're hoping to cover the lack of experience with the younger defensive backs, but they held their own Saturday.

Big key going into the 2015 season will be which recruits sign on the line, and how much of Coach Andersen's philosophy and offense/defense catches on in the next two years. It seems like the current players have jumped on board with the changes, and I do not foresee them recruiting talent that wouldn't like what they're doing in Madison.

So, where do you see Warmack and other Crimson Tide players going in the draft tonight and the rest of the weekend?

H.U.G.E. 3-4 defense fan here!

When Saban was first hired, we had some spirited discussions on what it would take—personnel wise—for the scheme to be effective. It's that transition that brought some surprises with players stepping into unexpected play-making roles.

I'll tell ya this. If there is one thing I've learned it's finding that dominant nose-tackle has the odds like shooting craps. They are few and far between. Now, I see the state of Wisconsin grows some big ole' boys. But, I also have seen it's a position that carries a lot of weight—no pun intended.

I had followed Badger football from a distance due to the running game but didn't pay close attention until the talks first started with the two teams playing at a neutral site. With Bielema taking the Arkansas job and the result being an even closer look at his success while in Madison osmosis led me to watch the Anderson hire. At the risk of repeating myself, hearing the defense he was installing made me pay closer attention. I'll follow the team more closely than any other B1G team this and will definitely be tuned in for the game against Ohio State. (We play Ole Miss that day and in all likelihood that'll mean a night kick in Tuscaloosa freeing up the afternoon to watch the ABC broadcast...assuming they carry it.)

Draft position?

I'm looking forward to seeing where Eddie Lacy ends up being drafted. I'd love to see him as a surprise first rounder.

I'm not a big NFL fan past draft day, but from what I've gathered we've got a decent chance at seeing three go in the first 15 picks with a good chance of two in the first ten.

If Eddie goes in the first, and Jesse Williams—nose tackle, btw—slips in as well it'll be a good day for Bama fans seeing five go on day one.

While this is an Alabama forum, we've got a number of football fans who love to talk about football from any team or conference.

I can assure you there is no love lost for Meyer around here and you can bet they'll be conversations about the B1G frequently.

As a caveat, if you happen to be a big fan of Jim Delaney, you'll find some of us that question his forethought—ass running over mouth syndrome with that one.
