It was over when Sparty (down 14-0) had 1st and goal from the 7. An Upshaw forced fumble and some shenanigans later, they were punting on 4th and goal. Bama never looked back.

I'd love to see another one like that.

every time we play a team that's supposedly "really good" and we beat the snot out of them or make it look not as close as it really was in the end, it's never because we were that good. it's because the other team wasn't that good, or was having a "down year", or some other b.s.

I remember Lacy breaking a run in down the stretch of that Capital One Bowl game and Saban had a disgusted look on his face and kinda threw his hands up. He was trying to take the air out of the ball, but the Sparty defense wasnt able to comply.
