First off ill preface this as a source from a source (I know). My friend (who is a huge auburn fan but not an arrogant homer and still hasnt said one negative thing about he iron bowl to me) said his cousin who is a huge Bama fan and lives in Tuscaloosa. He saying that its catching fire there right now that Mrs. Terry is tired of the grind of the SEC. And that some big wigs are saying that its at least being discussd by the Sabans about other coaching opprptunities or just retiring. I do know that there was an AL.com article published this morning about USC contacting Saban before hiring Sarkisian so anyone got any info???

USC tried to contact his agent... they hired someone else... shouldn't that tell you all there is to know about that one?

Saban was in Hoover recruiting Marlon Humphrey Monday with Kirby Smart... so yeah...

No harm - I think that was couched with enough "friend of a friend" qualifiers to be acceptable. With such a tremendous event (a loss!) I can understand the rash reactions by many (shootings, selling memorabilia, coaching rumors); however, we've lost one game each of the last three seasons, and three the year before that. No one likes it, no one is used to it, and I love the determination of our coaches and players to keep it from happening again.

RTR,

Tim

You gotta love our chances------What he said

Saban was in Cam Robinson's living room this afternoon. What's the pitch? Cam I want you to come to X University! Cam: where is that? CNS: No idea! I haven't made up my mind!

I think there is a huge difference this time than in times past before Saban........ Alabama has discovered that you get what you pay for. And, the candidate doesn't have to have played for the Bear to be considered. I'm sure when the time comes and he does retire/leave Bill Battle, or whoever, will leave the bank wide open to pursue the best available out there. No more fRAN, Price or Shula. Shoot for the moon.

God help us if our team dare loses more than one game again...ever. I don't think this fan base could handle it. Nobody is ever going to remember the good times if all people do is worry about Saban leaving or if we will lose X game(s). Sigh

One good thing about being older and following Bama as long as I have is that you remember the mediocre years between Coach Bryant to Coach Stallings then from Coach Stallings to Coach Saban. I don't like loosing to Auburn, period, but I understand that the pressure Bama faces year in and year out with a very successful program, throws a few curb balls from time to time. We still have Coach Saban, we cant win NCs every year, and the biggest thing here is we are reloading. The fight is ongoing and will be long after I exist on this earth and everyone else for that matter. I for one, am very proud to be from Alabama and can say that I am a Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

My point, it doesn't end with the Iron Bowl, or if Coach Saban goes, this team will be back and there will always be some awesome memories, coaches, players, tradition and the possibilities of more championships. It won't end, this Awesome tradition will keep on keeping on. We as fans need to do the same.

ROLL TIDE!
