Classroom:praytor is a double major in biology and Spanish, with an over 3.75 GPA. She owns a perfect 4.0 GPA in Spanish. Praytor is a member of the University Honor Program since 2005, has been on the President's List and on the Dean's List in seven semesters at UA. She was an SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll selection and earned SEC Academic Honor Roll accolades in 2006 and 2007. Praytor was an ESPN the Magazine second team Academic All-District selection in 2006 and earend NFCA Academic All-America Scholar Athlete honors last season. Also a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committe and was a delegate to the 2005 NCAA Leadership Conference in Orlando in 2005. Member of the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, the Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-professional Honor Society and participated in the UA Study Abroad Program in Madrid, Spain in the summer of 2007.

Character:praytor is generally recognized as one of the most outstanding leaders, players and people in the history of the Alabama softball program. She has provided an outstanding example of hard work and sacrifice, having been willing to do anything to help her team be successful. Her academic and community service work has been exemplary and have exposed her to a wide variety of philanthropic organizations.

Community:partnership Coordinator at the UAB Hospitals, helping raise funds and coordinate team involvement in 2008. Volunteer at the Project Angel Tree organization that gathered donations, purchases clothes, toys and necessities and wrapped and presented gifts to children of incarcerated parents. Volunteered wit the Gatorade Get 60 Program in 2006 that planned lessons and conducted physical education classes at elementary schools to encourage children to exercise. DCH Regional Medical Center volunteer in 2005, helping assist and visit patients in the pediatrics ward. Also participated in Read Across America, an athletic department Halloween Extravaganza and served food to Hurricane Katrina evacuees in the fall of 2005.

Competition:A three-time All-SEC and NFCA All-Region honoree, Praytor is in the top 10 in several offensive categories. Finished in the top 10 in the SEC in four offensive categories and helped lead the nation's top scoring offense as a junior. The Crimson Tide has made two College World Series appearances and won the 2006 regular season SEC title in her sophomore season. As a senior, Praytor joins teammate Brittany Rogers at the top of the lineup and is one of the most dangerous second-hole hitters in the country. She was third in the league in stolen bases as a junior.
