I hadn't seen a lot about Saban and Pearl in their respective TV jobs until recently. It started with a piece published by Awful Announcing. I caught it on X and started seeing the Saban, and Jay Wright, comparisons.
Now, here's the speculation. Why Pearl and why now? The brainchild behind AA leans left; sometimes hard left. Pearl has been outspoken about things in the Middle East, and here at home, quite a bit lately. Why Pearl and not Saban? Why now?
Scab is just Scab. There's not an original thought there.

I can't for the life of me figure out why and how daddy thinks he is going to talk Stevie through a head coaching career. The barners saw right through what daddy did, holding the program hostage so they had no choice but to promote from within and give his boy the job. They don't want Stevie around for another moment, let alone another season. What's he going to say again next year when the barn crashes out again? That they had the toughest schedule in the country and deserve to be in over this team or that team from a mid major conference?
