...Seeing CNS as happy as he was last night.

I have never seen him so happy and just overly proud last night. Even the gatorade bath was performed to perfection....as he would of wanted. Some people may complain about him getting pissed over the offsides call we had thrown on us, you know, the only penalty we had. But I freaking love that about CNS. He DEMANDS perfection at all times, no matter the score. But that's what I love about him and it fits Alabama's montrato a "T". Compared to '09 was a black and white comparison. He truly was 100% satisfied last night!!

But icing on the cake for me was seeing our coach look like he truly 100% without a doubt certafiably undeniably loved what he saw last night. As did I.

CNS you da man!!! :a:ight

Yea I don't know what it was in 09 but it was night and day on how he reacting with this one. In 09 they gave him the gatorade bath and he looked pissed almost and quickly threw on a jacket to present himself for the trophy. This year he was literally dancing once they dunked him and a smile as big as I've ever seen him have....at any place he's coached. He was elated and it could not be hidden .... even if he wanted to!! It was great to see. I think one of the announcers mentioned it and said something like maybe he's finally accepting the rewards of "The Process" ..or something along those lines. He really seems to enjoy this class and who can blame him? These guys have been in two NC's and won them both. Hats off to them and the entire University of :a:labama.

Different liquid this time for one...and, recall, he got knocked in the head pretty good with that cooler in '09. I'd be a bit ticked off myself.

I remember him getting hit in the head and remember the hideous color of pink on white, but it was more to it than that I think. The demeanor was never at the level it was for this one.

I think I read somewhere where a reporter asked him if he liked this win better than the 09 win and he said something to the effect of, "yea I suppose I do and this is a special team" (paraphrasing here of course).

Whatever it was I'm glad we witnessed it. He seemed beyond cloud 9.

He seemed giddy like a school girl after that win. It definitely meant more to him than the '09 title. And i think this team is more special to him as well (maybe because these were all his kids?). He was jumping and smiling and laughing and i couldnt be more happy for him and proud of this team. Me and some friends use to joke around when he got hired saying he would win 4 titles in tenure at Bama...... half way there and no signs of slowing down.

I think what gave this one a special meaning to him had alot to do with what the team had endured since the end of spring practice; ie. the tornado that ripped thru Tuscaloosa and the death of Aaron Douglas. I believe Saban said that Douglas was the first player that he had ever lost and i think it added to his desire and the teams desire to achieve greatness.
