Two people wearing the Rose Bowl jackets. (male and a female interestingly enough) They appeared to be in a bit of culture shock from the Southerness of Ole Miss.:dazed: I told them I would only need 4 tickets for the BCSCG. They smiled and continued on.

Also ran into Brother Oliver in the consession line. I looked over did a double take and said "Coach, you doing ok?" He shook my hand and introduced himself as Brother Oliver.

Which brings me to this question. Why is he called Brother? I was kinda suprised he called himself brother rather than Bill.

I've heard this story Koz, but it's been so long ago I'm fuzzy on the details now.

The only thing that sounds right (when I tell it to myself :lance: ) is it is a lot like Dabo's story...but, in this case it wasn't because no one could pronounce Bill, but someone else was called Bill...dad maybe?

Apparently he goes to quite a few games. I sat with him and his wife on the flight back from New Orleans after Bama/LSU game back to 2002.

Are you sure they weren't there to scout Ole Miss? Maybe they were there to scout their tailgate to try to take that to Pasadena, because as I am sure you know they never lose a party, haha. But obviously they are pretty good at losing football games. :lol:
