Did anyone else read the B'ham news this morning? Front page of the sports section had a quote from Tubbs that should piss off alot of Barners. It would piss me off if CNS said it. Tubby says, quote "It was ugly, but we'll take 3-2 every game we play this year." He must be easily satisfied. :roll:

That is funny. What is even more funny is how the best offensive coordinator ever hatched in the United States can only put 3 points on the board against Mississippi State.

Even more funny than that is the current propaganda campaign being run that is promoting the AuNeck defense as one of the best ever defenses in the history of college football. What a joke.

They have played LM, Southern Miss, and Miss. State. I honestly don't understand where all the fawning, foaming, and bowing down at the AuNeck's defensive prowess is coming from among fans of other teams and writers.

In reality, the AuNecks are a low middle to lower tier SEC team this year, at this point.

The majority of Auburn fans definitely assumed he was the best ever. He was going to revolutionize SEC football.

Evidently many voters were hoodwinked also. Why would the AP preseason rank a team in the top ten when you have a new offensive coordinator, a new defensive coordinator, a junior college transfer QB and another QB who has never started a game?

Add to that a new offensive scheme that has never been utilized by the AuNecks and I don't know where the preseason top 10 came from unless a bunch of idiots really thought Franklin was going to shock and awe the SEC.

Yep, how quickly we all forget. The swarming waves of offensive excellence the likes of which the SEC had never seen were just around the corner, until the season started that is.

I'm with butcher.....until we break the streak, I'm not going to run them down............


I seem to recall them barely winning the home opener last year and then dropping the next two....only to finish the season strong and beating us in the iron bowl.

I can name many teams that I would take a one point lead over and be proud OK I will name a few from last season
(Georgia, Florida State, LSU, MISSISSIPPI STATE HELL YEA, Auburn, and would you not trade a 1 point 3-2 win over Louisiana Monroe). Alabama Lost to Miss State 4 points, who in the Bama nation would not trade and be happy with a 3-2 win instead of a 17-12 loss. Why in the blue hell would any one be mad!!!!! :?

True a win is a win, even if the score is 3-2. The point is, he apparently has LOW expectations for his program. If CNS would've said he'll take 3-2 every game, it would be talked about nation wide. Simply because people hate him. But that's o.k. I don't ever want to hear our coach say 3-2 is good enough. If Tubby was a TRUE competitive coach, he would've been very, VERY disappointed with that kinda win. Even if it is a win, it was weak as hell.

Tubby is a sitting duck. This is the last year he will win at least 9 games, that is if he is able to even pull it off this year. His talent is depleting rapidly, and he is getting his tail kicked in in-state recruiting.
