Jalen Hurts named a semifinalist for Davey O'Brien Award


This committee considers the reigning SEC Offensive POY as one of the 16 top QBs in the country.

Amazing to me how some fans can still gripe about this 19 yr old kid when other football minds from around the league and the nation think he's one of the best.

Oh, and he also broke and then set a new Bama record Saturday against LSWho with most rushing TDs by a Bama QB @20, besting none other than Harry Gilmer' s old record.

Salute to Jalen. I am hopeful Daboll will attach the middle of the field a little more going forward. It would be great if #9 and #34 actually raised their level of passing blocking going forward. Last week neither blocked like the NC was on the line.

I think those who criticize.....are not really critical......
Ok....i watch at the game....
And I still dont see him anticipating a receiver coming open....
He still decides where he is going with the throw early....its obvious..
Not criticism.....just facts....but i am a hugh fan....I would take himover any other QB in the SEC...
He is a great leader....big and fast.....smart...improving constantly.....
Watchng Deshawn Watson for those 3 years....see a lot of similarities...
