I'm still floored at his "Bama is better without Sexton" article a few months ago where he backtracked, several times, and finally ended up blaming "it was a bad headline."

After week one....I didn’t see any problem with power poll...
May have moved UGA down below AU and Ole Ms up some to 5 or 6
...and i know it’s gonna move around....its week one power poll...
Lots of non conference weeklinks coming up next few weeks....
And some competition games...uga-sc...bama-ole ms....tx-clemson...etc
Then get into big boy football ....

I don't have a problem with his list at this point. And you have give LSU some credit where it's earned - they just clobbered #8 Miami. Now, whether Miami was overrated, time will tell. I wouldn't put too much into the opener, but for this week, it's fine.

I'd put LSU right above Ole Miss. Ole Miss has them, in spades, on offense but has no defense. LSU is the polar opposite. Bama, UGA, Auburn, MSU, and to a degree UofSC have all proven they've got talent on both sides of the line.

Now, whether Miami was overrated, time will tell.

With the lone exception of Miami not having a linebacker with a fake girlfriend, how is Miami any different than Notre Dame of 2012?

I picked Ole Miss to win, but they looked pretty solid against Texas Tech. We will have our hands full with their receivers and quarterback, so that will be a fun game, but our offense will score plenty. Only Week 1, but I'm entrigued by our schedule a little more after LSU, Ole Miss, and Auburn all won in Week 1.
