🏈 How Coach Saban Voted in the Coaches Poll

TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- There are few extremes on Nick Saban's final ballot in the USA Today coaches poll.
The Alabama coach's top six matches the top six that emerged in the final edition of the poll, which was released earlier today. That means Saban has the Crimson Tide at No. 3 behind Florida State and Auburn heading into tonight's official unveiling of where teams are headed for bowl season.
While the poll that counts toward one-third of the BCS equation included Northern Illinois and Miami (Fla.) near the bottom, Saban instead closed his top 25 with USC and Vanderbilt.

His biggest disagreement with the majority comes with Texas A&M, which he ranks 18th. The Aggies are 21st in the overall poll, which includes votes from 62 coaches across the country.

The coaches' ballots aren't publicized until the final week.

I was gonna be real interested in seeing the votes if Ohio State had pulled that game out last night. SEC and B1G coaches were going to vote along party lines regardless, but Bret Bielema's vote might have been worth a look. I'm sure he would have stuck with party lines too becasue that would be the smart play if he thinks he ever has a shot in the SEC, but then again, he's not that smart.

It believe it is very revealing that every coach has the same first 3 choices, FSU, Allbarn, BAMA, Except Steve Spurrier, Frank Beamer, Dana Holgersen, Jerry Kill, Cliff Kingsbury, Mike Leach, & Mark Dantonio. This is 7 coaches out of 65 coaches. (If I counted right)
