Bet when he signed up for punting, that never crossed his mind.
Something we take for granted, but his routine holds at the end of the game & in overtime were VERY important!
One bobble & we were dead!
@TerryP has pointed to it all year and in years past. The amount of time or lack/limited amount of practice time for a QB to hold is a decision that CNS refuses to budge and finally he did!!!

Yep, he did a good job holding, and Will did a great job kicking.
However, we didn't have to go all the way down under to get a punter averaging 36-37 yards a kick. The kid from Prattville can do that. He hurt us on some short punts yesterday.
I was surprised that Tyson was pulled so quick. As for the Aussie holding, punters do it all the time in practice - not only as a holder behind the holder but because if a QB is the regular holder, they don’t practice with the kickers except for kicking periods in the practice schedule.

I know what you are saying. However, after the 2 bad holds in the previous games, and the bad hold on the FG attempt in this game, I would have gladly sent Elon Musk to Mars to get a holder for the holds in this game!
I felt a little bad for Tyson but you can't have that type of thing happen - especially at times like that - and expect to keep your job. I would be shocked if he isn't at Jacksonville State or something next year.

Yeah but almost all of his punts are VERY returnable.

Amen to this. Not that I doubted him, but I could only think of all the past missed ones from other kickers that hurt us during the time he was getting ready to kick. He was stone cold, and I love it!
One punt was fielded at the first down market. That’s sad… And yes, I know we’d had some penalties leading to the punt that had us backed up a good bit, but a punt should always clear the line to gain.
