It's easy to point to the losses and even some of the wins and suggest the SEC is struggling. Then Florida wallops previously unbeaten Cincinnati in a game so lopsided, TV color commentator and former Baltimore Ravens coach Brian Billick said, "Watching Florida, how good is Alabama?"

Or how good are the SEC's top teams? The answer may be delivered Thursday night. A convincing Alabama win might find voters putting Florida at No. 2 in the final Associated Press poll, behind Alabama.
