🏀 Hankerson and Mitchell have been released from scholarships

Both have been released according to Don Kausler on Twitter. Mitchell was no surprise but to me, Hankerson was. I guess that we will have 3 schollies available now.

There is a wing player named Walker that we're battling FSU for. Some rumors around about MSU players leaving post Stansbury and landing here, but nothing concrete.

Grant manages to keep recruiting informartion close to the vest, so not a lot out there now.

Is Jaren Cina still looking at us? I saw on Tidesports that he de-committed but was still considering us, then again that was back in Oct.

His answer was that he pulled the trigger too soon. I don't think we are out, just that he wanted to sample other schools. He wouldn't come until 2013 class though.

To no one's surprise, Mitchell has entered his name in the NBA draft. The buzz is that he had academic ground to make up if he chose to transfer.

I don't think he will be drafted. He will likely be invited to NBA camps, and has some chance of making a roster that way. Most likely he will end up playing overseas.
