🏈 Glad we won't have to hear about boise anymore......

I just wish we could have played them undefeated. I am glad we can quit hearing about how they can beat anyone, they can compete, they could win a division of the SEC, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, uuuuuugggggg!!!!

Pretty crappy call that let them have a chance at the field goal.

all the Boise St stuff gets older and older year after year. Its resulted in me pulling against them as hard as any other team out there.

Boise, if you want to be considered equal, join a real conference, its that simple. Until you do that, you will never be on the same level.

it kinda sucks to me, really. they were never going to be a problem as far as competition for getting to the NC game was concerned, now we just have to play them in the sugar bowl with a lot of the fire taken out of it. oh well

I don't think Boise State is turning down lots of BCS conference offers.

They've done an amazing job there and I think they would dominate in the ACC, Big East, Pac 12, and possibly the Big 12. I can't imagine they could hold up to the physical rigors of the SEC or the Big 10, although if they had SEC budgets and SEC depth I wouldn't sleep on them.

Its not our problem that Boise isn't getting invited. Its just their reality. And until it happens, however unlikely, they will never equal. Sorry, no matter how good we speculate they can be, until they can prove it, they'll never have my and many others support.

the big east HAS reached out to them. it was just talked about this week how they don't wanna go. why would they? they want to play cupcake teams all year in a schedule that's equivalent to 10 homecomings and maybe 1 real game, go undefeated and get a BCS bowl game. then start crying about how they should be in the NC game every year

Does anyone really consider the Big East a BCS conference? Certainly not after WVU, Pitt and Syracuse leaving, and adding other NAQ teams will not make up for it.

Boise's only hope is for 4 -16 teams conferences to come, and they can join one of those.

did anyone ever consider the Big East a football conf?

the few highlights I saw, boise states secondary looked slow - anyone watch the game confirm? seemed that the few highlights of TCU scoring, the boise state defender was nowhere to be found.

Exactly!!! They are slow. This is not a top flight division one team. If I was voting, I would not have them in my poll after this week.

totally disagree. Typically, they schedule their lone "marquee" game to start the season and then immediately follow with an open date or a cream puff, just like Georgia this year. They can gameplan and scheme and pull out all stops to sell out for one game and then not have to worry about the next week. Georgia had #12 South Carolina immediately following. Boise had...the week off. The game after that? Toledo.

If Boise had to play top 40 or so talent for several weeks in a row, they would crumble like a house of cards.
