SEC on CBS analyst Gary Danielson: "I thought they would figure out a way to utilize Jalen (Hurts) as a backup in an emergency of if Tua (Tagovailoa) got hurt. But, apparently, that plan has gone by the wayside."

If he hasn't transferred yet then he is probably still the backup contingency at bare minimum.

@rocknthefreeworld, I haven't see anything posted on here about him transferring, I hope he stick around for another ring.

He won't transfer (or even say he is) until after December. He is supposed to graduate then and could play immediately. I expect that he will if he doesn't play much this year, but you never know. I was just stating that he is still here now so he is at least the backup, especially in case Tua gets hurt.
