I think a lot of fans were looking at the choice of paying for the trip to Dallas or Nawlins. Since the latter is a five-hour drive from Birmingham (just using a central point), many waited til the ticket prices dropped...and how they have dropped - Wished we were going! I know a few people who are going to Nawlins today. I don't think there will be a shortage of Bama fans in the dome tonight.

Yes. The Ohio native in the newsroom is picking the upset. After the damage OSU did to Wisconsin with third-string quarterback Cardale Jones, the Buckeyes have proved they are full of surprises.

I have heard all the Big Ten jokes. I have made a lot of them. Same with the Urban Meyer jokes. But this game will be no joke. Ohio State is being built along SEC lines, something Meyer knows how to do. Alabama should win ā but it will be no laughing matter.

I expect the Buckeyes to hit on a few big plays, but eventually, Alabama will wear down the Buckeyes with a heavy dose of T.J. Yeldon and Amari Cooper.

I think this will be a relatively high-scoring game. Alabama is better built to dominate the line of scrimmage, but I suspect the Buckeyes to take several and connect on a few deep shots to stretch the UA defense. Alabama is a deeper, more experienced team.

It would be embarrassing to have more OSU fans than Bama fans at a game in the south. Hoping Crimson represents well.

What I haven't heard this post
Season... Anything about our energy and focus in practice. I remember hearing about this before the LSU and ND games, where there were times the team leaders had to have meetings and all to get guys focused. Haven't heard anything like this for this game. I hope silence is a good thing...
