🏈 🔥 Hot Seat 2025 / Coaching Carousel:

Birmingham Stallions (UFL):Skip Holtz, who led the organization to championships in 2022, 2023, and 2024, has announced that he is stepping away from the team, noting "I am not retiring. This is simply the right moment to pause, reflect, and look ahead. I'm excited about the next steps in my journey and energized by new possibilities."
From the football scoop.

Doesn't matter who was the boss, etc.

She played a role in all of this. She was a home wrecker... She knew he was married. At any point during their consensual relationship, she could've said no. She has to bear the same consequences as he is facing because they both made a huge mess.

She didn't have a family, so how is she supposed to face that consequence? She wasn't the head coach and face of a blue blood college football program, so how can she face that consequence? She didn't give herself a raise, he set that in motion and pushed it through the system, so how can she face that consequence?

She is absolutely a part of the equation, but like I said before, even if she put it in his face, he coulda said no and none of this would have happened. He absolutely holds more of the consequence and weight. A homewrecker? He had to unbutton his pants first to make any of this go. That sorry fucker isn't a man and deserves to have his charade of a life come tumbling down. Hate it for the kids because their dad is a piece of shit. He says no, guess what, she has to go cozy up to someone else. But he didn't.

She has a family. Don't buy that narrative.

So his past domestic abuse claims are false narrative too?

You say everything written so far isn't true, but why would the police charge him with some pretty serious charges if none of it were true? Not saying it's all 100% factual, but charges being brought against you usually have some merit.
No you said she doesn't have a family. I said that's false. I'm not disputing anything else. Just I don't like how everyone out there is defending her as she's the victim. There are people that's so quick to side with the victims many time only to find out later that what we heard in first place isn't always the truth.

I'm very very iffy about the whole Michigan thing.... Something isn't right about all of this. I don't have a good feeling about that girl....so before we all pass on judgement ... I want to hear the full whole story on that girl.... And something tells me she ain't exactly the victim.

It comes down to one person...Moore. if he says no, it's not a thing.

I agree about your comments on Michigan. Something ain't right after this and the sign stealing deal. Not how a nine figure entity should act or get "caught".

This story has been kept tight lipped since he was suspended a little over a week ago. OU, in Athens, OH. is in the middle of nowhere about 40 minutes southeast of Columbus and the much larger brand. It will be interesting to see what the actual misconduct was that led to his firing yesterday.
I agree. The bottle in a drawer seems like an attorney looking to avoid a payout, unless it truly is a drinking issue affecting his performance or how he's treating his staff and team.

Well, she acknowledges she had a two-year relationship with him. Her attorney says this incident wasn't the first domestic abuse issue, but that's her attorney.

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Former Michigan football coach Sherrone Moore had a “long history of domestic violence” against a female football staffer during their relationship, the woman’s lawyer told police.

Detective Jessica Welker of the Pittsfield Township Police Department provided that information in sworn testimony at a complaint authorization hearing Friday prior to Moore’s arraignment on charges of third-degree home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering.

A transcript of the hearing, obtained by The Athletic, reveals new details about the circumstances that led to Moore’s Dec. 10 arrest. The female staffer told police that she disclosed her relationship with Moore to the university earlier that day and was preparing to leave town when Moore barged into her apartment.

The woman’s lawyer, Heidi Sharp of Clinton Township, Mich., made the 911 call to alert authorities that Moore was inside the staffer’s apartment. The woman’s lawyer told police she could hear screaming over the phone and the staffer told her, “He’s here. He’s here. Sherrone is here.”

The staffer told police that Moore grabbed knives and pointed them at her, then pointed the knives at himself and backed up when the woman put her lawyer on speakerphone, according to Welker’s testimony. Moore denied physically assaulting the staffer or “threatening her with any weapons” in his interview with police later that night, Welker testified.

Moore was not charged with assault. In a statement to The Athletic, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office said, “the evidence that was available to us at the time of the charging decision indicated that Mr. Moore had an intent to terrorize and harass the victim — which is the basis for the stalking charge. Given that his statements were those of self-harm, however, there was not sufficient evidence to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, an intent to assault or batter the victim.”

The prosecutor’s office said the case “remains under active investigation” and charges could be added or amended based on new evidence. However, the prosecutor’s office said it has not received “any requests for charges for any previous incidents involving Mr. Moore.”

Moore told police on the night of his arrest that he and the staffer “were in an intimate relationship for approximately two years,” according to Welker’s testimony. The woman told police she ended the relationship Dec. 8, two days before Moore’s firing, and told Moore she had “nothing more to say to him.” The staffer told police that Moore called her “approximately a dozen times and sent her text messages over the next two days.”

Lawyers representing Moore and the female staffer did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

On Wednesday, Michigan president Domenico Grasso released an update about the school’s response to Moore’s conduct, which now includes a law firm’s review into the athletic department’s culture, conduct and procedures. Grasso said Michigan’s next football coach would be of the highest moral character.
