Yep! Some of these kids coming out, while they show out at camp with ridiculous times/testing numbers, they come from a very archaic way of coaching and offenses. Coach Saban would’ve loved the WRs we put out during my coaching time at Sylacauga. We ran the Wing T and we could stalk, crack, or cutoff block and sustain our blocks better than any in the state!! The forward pass was nonexistent in our HCs playbook!HS get even less time for practice and even fewer hours in pads, due to AHSAA rules. Catching a football is just like hitting a baseball. It only improves with unlimited reps!
