| LIFE European Christmas Markets

I went to Nuremberg Chirstmas Market while I was station at Hanau, Germany. I do have photos but the thing is those are put way up! I mean it was 46 years ago. Very first time I saw a skinned Santa Claus. I can tell you this @OldPlayer and Mrs OldPlayer have some fun at any of those places. Holland is another good place too!

Any pictures / stories you want to share?
It was fun, but exhausting. Breakfast everyday at 7 (while body clock set on 1am). Morning excursion begins ~9:15am until around noon. Afternoon excursions begin ~2pm. Walked 9,000 - 12,000 steps per day on cobblestones. Went from Basel (Switzerland) to Breisach (Germany) to Strasbourg (France) to Freiburg (Germany) to Mannheim (Germany) to Rudesheim (Germany) to Koblenz (Germany) to Cologne (Germany) to Cologne (Germany) to Dordrecht (the Netherlands) to Amsterdam (the Netherlands).

In Amsterdam we went to the Anne Frank house. There wasn’t a block that we didn’t get a strong whiff of pot. They have coffee houses (for pot) and cafes (for coffee). Took a canal cruise and learned about how the city was built (it’s below sea level and much of the land has been reclaimed).

I’ll post some pictures soon.

You mean you didn't go down the street where the prostitute hung out of their window? It's legal as long as the ladies had paperwork showing their health. :ROFLMAO: We were told that pot is legal, I bet April and I didn't take two step off the bus and two American guys try selling us some. We also took that canal cruise, you didn't see Van Gogh house? What about the jail being at water level? When you were at Mannheim did you see the military prison? To bad you didn't go to Hanua, Germany, then you could have seen the Grimm's Brother status. One more thing we left two soldier be hide because we were on a time to get back.

It was pretty structured. Not much free time to see everything. Possibly the best part was that I got 4-5 “Roll Tides!” from strangers when they saw my script A hat.
