I missed the show Sunday, but just caught a conversation about it when I opened the stream from the Roundtable on JOX.

Here's the video - Report follows below.

Here's the story, and it's a bit of a long read, from ESPN.

Don't blame Nebraska, I wouldn't condone that kind of stuff. They should've threw the guy out that hit his team mate with the bottle too though. Sounds like a corrupted program.

OTL made a decent point in saying that Nebraska didn't kick Phillips and Peters off the team when they had their law run-ins, but they didn't pose nude with a school logo visible and prominently displayed. They also didn't directly violate NCAA rules by being paid for their image.

OTL also stated these kids had a history of trouble, one of the kids admitted on the air that he had been arrested more than once. I can't see where this is a bad decision.

With that kind of issue, I don't think they would've tried to sweep that under the rug.

Then I have to ask this question...

Why is it being reported...

At times, the big, black-and-red trademark "N" for Nebraska, which is tattooed on his left thigh, was visible.
And, if they didn't violation NCAA rules by being paid why did Donahoe pay back the money he earned to get his eligibility reinstated.

---

So, the coach gets the pictures. Chances of them being in an envelope with no return address - good or bad?

Got to wonder what kind of look Tom Osbourne had on his face - "Coach, take a look at these, will ya?"

---

A weird, weird story...

I was referencing Lawrence Phillips and Christian Peters when I said they didn't get paid for their image. OTL brought their legal run-ins up while discussing whether the penalties on the two naked kids were too harsh. My point was yes, Phillips and Peters were arrested but they didn't get paid for their naked image with a Nebraska tattoo.
