🏈 dee hart just enrolled.

I really believe Dee will see plenty of playing time this year and more than just in the RB rotation.

Agreed, from what everyone says, he is a dangerous PR or KR, so I wouldn't doubt him being there, as well as at RB more often than some may think. I mean, if Isaiah Crowell is not landed, I really see it being a Dee Hart v. Lacy battle for the 2nd RB spot.

^^ i dont think we'll have to worry about that. Crowell is a Dawg.

Yeah, I mean, that's what I figure too, but you never know, there is always hope and, in my own opinion, and I think I've read an article about this somewhere also, but with Mark Ingram leaving now, and TR to leave after next year, how can a running back that considers himself the best in the country (which Crowell has got to) not want to come play at Alabama right now, it just seems like the perfect timing. But, yeah, I still think there's a chance we pull it out, have hope!

That would make him a bit like Percy Harvin or Dexter McCluster, which arent bad things.

NFL teams are also figuring out how useful these hybrid guys can be, given that the NFL is pass oriented now.

Yeah, though that does leave me with my one gripe with Saban, and that is I feek he underutilizes guys in favor of a more conventional approach to players respective positions. Its in my view that if a player can do more than the conventional, he should get every opportunity to showcase what makes him unique.

Though that gripe died down this past season given the creative ways we used some of our guys, namely Maze, Ingram, and Julio. I think if Arenas had one more year, Saban was leaning toward expanding his roles too.

I think we were more innovative this year because we had to be. Had our running game been as strong (both line play and RB health) we would have ground it out more. I'd love to be in a position next year to make our games very boring.

Hart has terrific hands. He would fit right in as a slot receiver.

Well that was the big thing about his recruitment though. Hart was not coming to Alabama at first b/c Saban was recruiting him as a slot receiver, telling him he was too small to play running back. So he committed to Mich. Then when he gained 20 pounds over his senior season Saban said he could play RB and thats when he really started to look at Bama as his best option... So, what I'm saying is, Hart would certainly be a great slot receiver b/c of his size and speed and hands, but he specifically said, I'm not coming to Alabama unless I get to play RB, so take it for what its worth, but Hart would not be here unless he thought he was going to play RB.
