🏈 Dabo is just a clown. He'd never last or be able to handle a job like Bama's.

Never cared for the guy. Love he is an outspoken Christian, but football wise he's just a goober to me. His track record speaks for itself and he is a dang good coach, but more and more we see this side of him now that he has ran out of little quips he had when Clemson was turning the corner. It used to be all about the records and how many times yadda yadda, but now he's always defensive. They blasted Saban for politicking as Auburn as the best team we faced, so Dabo should get his fair share of criticism.

Remember that Dabo is a Bama Alum. He built more with less talent than any coach I know. Until the past several years, his recruiting classes have been nowhere near that of ours. Want to shut him up? Beat him!

I think the point is he needs to cut it with the "little ole Clemson " routine and then tout what they've done in the same breath. It's disingenuous and bush league , he has a cakewalk to playoff every year and still whines like a bitch.
He plays the underdog and it works. Some Bama fans can relate to his whining after some of the shit I read and heard about yesterday’s game and our OCC schedule

Dabo says a lot of people thought Clemson could compete for the ACC this year but would not be 12-0
He’s right, people didn’t want them in.
But he's not, Stomp. He's literally making this up out of thin air.

No one thought Clemson "could compete for the ACC." Everyone thought Clemson would win the ACC.
Who thought they would not be 12-0? Everyone thought, and said, they don't have any competition this season except A&M and they'll win that one while pointing to the ACC and saying there's no competition there as well.

Remember that Dabo is a Bama Alum.
I'm a little lost on what this has to do with the original post or what the OP mentions in his title. Being a Bama alum means what in this scenario?

He built more with less talent than any coach I know. Until the past several years, his recruiting classes have been nowhere near that of ours.
The same can be said for Dennis Franchione; someone who came from a smaller school to Alabama. But, when he was in Tuscaloosa he couldn't handle the "fish bowl" that the head coach at Bama has to live in. Both Fran and Dabo are good football coaches. Being a good football coach and being able to handle the job in Tuscaloosa are not mutually exclusive.

Not to mention the SEC West ... nevermind the whole SEC, is a different animal than the ACC. Clemson puts it on cruise control all year and still Dabo pulls out his "nobody respects us " schtick. Cmon dude you've won 2 titles.

Dabo will not be the next Alabama coach. He's making close to CNS money now. He's built a program into a champion. What's the incentive for him to make the move? Mama isn't going to call. We need to stop thinking we need an Alabama guy at the helm. Saban, Shula and DuBose show that having an Alabama legacy isn't relevant.
