I've seen a few pictures of Lewis after the Tennessee game, and he has bulked up big time from last season! Hopefully they aren't rushed back, but I think we would all welcome them both with open arms.

Ordinarily I would want them to hold onto their year of eligibility but not if they can help win a championship. Plus, Lewis looks like a future star and very likely a 3 year player so 4th year may mean little.

Saban had interesting remarks on playing freshman vs redshirt. Mentioned how they redshirted Fluker and only got 2 years out of him when he left early.

I caught his comments about these two and he said something along the lines of the doctor clearing them soon, but playing or getting a medical redshirt would be something they would need to discuss with their families.

Lewis was in beast-mode before he got hurt during the FSU game. Kid was on his way to a hell of a season. pass rush skills looked sharp. Our QB pressure has since waned. We could sure use him back for the final 4 if feasible.

Wouldn't they both likely qualify for medical redshirt?

They would immediately play with our linebacker play and injuries. Stand out in the SEC title game and playoffs, enter NFL draft. Why wait another year when they may get hurt again like SDH
