She knows I hate crowds so it'll probably depend on how much she wants to go. I'll resist some and see how important it is to her, go from there. We usually avoid downtown key west from dec 22 to about the 7th of jan, crowds are ridiculous then and I'm not real patient.

A place here does a brunch dim sum on the 21st each year...about a three hour window for reservations and I missed it. Real good; 11 - ...it's a little over three hours of eating.

1 Box of Philly Cream Cheese.
1/2 of a container of sour cream.
2 T of Pico
1/4 bar of melted Sharp Cheddar (I did it with a little butter.)

1/2 lb ground sirloin cooked like taco meat...1 T with a little less than 1/4 C of water (same routine.)

Covered it, almost, with salsa.

Cheese of your choice. I cubed to see how it would break down...grated will work.

Those are fresh green onions, diced on top, after taking it out...

400 for 20 (convection setting.)
or 400 for 25 if my oven didn't have that.

NYE for me will be spent in bed by 9:00pm. I have to work the next day, so it's up at 4:00am like normal. Then, it's home just in time for kickoff. And it'll probably be chili for dinner that day.

NYE and NYD aren't holidays where I work. But we get plenty more of them throughout the year (including the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve).

I dethawed some hot cheese and pepper venison summer sausage with some lactose free cheddar cheese. Going to eat that just relax this new years.

Not sure what we'll do. My wife has been wanting to make the quail we shot this year, so may make a point to eat that. We don't celebrate New Years to any extent, so will resume like any other ordinary day.

Couldn't enjoy my nachos we made during the first quarter of the Oklahoma game, so that ruined my appetite. Gonna try something different this go round.
