It was such a hard fought game up front. It was hard to tell how much of a factor Mt. Cody was. To me, he didn't look 100% when he was in. I didn't notice him in on a lot of tackles. I hope he didn't reinjure his knee, we're gonna need him.

He's never going to be in on a lot of tackles (or get sacks). It's his job to eat up blocks, and free up the LB's so they can make the tackles. Also, he gets even fewer now than he did at the start of the season because teams simply won't run at him, and at times triple team him. They learned from Clemson's mistakes. As far as his knee... I'm not sure if he's 100% yet or not, but I think he's close to it.

To add a note to this thread though, Dareus played VERY well when he was in at tackle, especially considering he is a true freshman and it was a new position for him.

Dareus played well when he was in there...I was expecting to see more out of Chapman. I didn't really see Chapman in there expect for a couple of short-yardage or goaline packages, I may have missed him though.

Cody did not look like he was 100% to me, but that might be due in part to the fact that LSU's line was pretty darn good.

LSWho line was good at holding him with no calls! Mostly kept there hands inside out of sight.

I noticed that and I was guessing they wanted more speed at DT. Trying to mix it up and he did great getting off the blocks and taking up sometimes double teams. He's going to be a great DE in our 3-4.
