🏈 Coach Bill Snyder did what?

He should have taken the high road.

As a coach I also have an appreciation for the truth... Doesn't break my heart that he "spilled the beans" on a kid that is making a media circus out of his own mistakes.

Trying to understand why he wants to keep a player around that in the past he would have kicked off his team except for new school policy? Isn't the misbehaving player making it easier for him to do what he really wanted to do, to begin with?

Otherwise, he sounds like a HC that just can't say goodbye to his pot smoking buddy.

In related news:

Back in the days of slavery, plantation owners forced slaves to work in their fields and denied their requests to transfer to more appealing plantations.

Like the US government who won't negotiate with terrorists (in the movies).

Many forms of "attrition"... The kid will quit or go D2.

If Saban did this you'd be all over him.

Snyder's actions are petty. Says he never keeps guys around who fails tests, but is willing to make exceptions due to depth. Snyder lost respect on this one, poor decision.

Word on the street, FCS and Div II schools were on the list of 35.

There is more to the story.

You're right about that... The "more" is the kid was probably a huge pain in the ass. The other potential issue could be he's making a point with KSU admin, who apparently made an exception for this kid to not get the boot after 2 failed piss tests.

The article I read says he denied all big 12 teams and future opponents (which comes out to about 35). Isn't that basically what Saban does also? I've never had a problem with that.

So he was such a pain in the ass, Snyder would go out of his way to make sure he couldnt leave? Yeah that makes TONS of sense...

Saban denies all SEC opponents and supposedly this dude was even blocking DII schools. I have no idea why you are caping so hard for someone pulling a scumbag move.
