| LIFE Charles Stanley has passed away. There's a guy, who from the pulpit, has influenced an untold number of lives.

I think it was De Haan who started Our Daily Bread. I can't think of the name of the pamphlet Stanley published ... gonna have to Google.

How many times have you seen him on TV on a Sunday morning?

Great man of God who did not compromise the Word of God from the pulpit. He will be greatly missed. In Touch may have been the name his publication.

When I saw a pic of him he looked a little familiar, but name wise I had no idea. The only tv pastors I know is Creflo (think Dollar) and the dude that does 700 club I think

I have heard him many times. He was an excellent preacher and faithful until the end. Well done, good and faithful servant!

Back in the early years of the "Mega Church" era hitting the states I watched Creflo a half of a dozen times or more. The "theatre in the round" concept they have for their services is neat approach. It's unique, something that church's need now-a-day.

Funny. I've never watched one of Stanley's sermons. I have read two dozen or more of those pamphlets they publish.

I suppose he's as well known as he is because the FBC is probably the flagship church of the SBC.
